took advantage of the beautiful fall day and the exciting festivities to
make Hackensack's second street festival successful. More than
300 merchants participated in the event. Pictured above are:

The first of what is hoped to be many future Hackensack street festivals was
very well attended on Oct. 14. There was something for everyone, the very
young and the very young at heart. More than 15,000 people took
advantage of the beautiful fall day and the exciting festivities to make
Hackensack's first festival successful. Sponsorship made the day
possible. Platinum sponsors included: The County Seat, Musically Yours and
Hekemian & Co. Gold Sponsors included: CJ Lombardo Company, Fragrance
Emporium, Some's Uniforms, Oritani Bank, Johnson Public Library, Property

Property Connections Real Estate celebrated their expansion into new corporate offices at 254 State Street, Hackensack on Wednesday. Mayor Jack Zisa officiated at the ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an Open House hosted by Lynn Jantos, President. Local business people and clients of Property Connections attended the catered affair. Property Connections has been serving the Hackensack community for over 10 years. They specialize in sales and leasing of commercial and residential properties, development sites and property management primarily in Bergen County. Property Connections relocated from their offices on Essex Street. They purchased the former PSE&G offices and completed a major interior and exterior renovation, occupying the new offices on March 25, 2005. Hon. Jack Zisa, Mayor of Hackensack, complimented the renovation saying “You’ve done a beautiful job here”!
